What we operate

• Website tools on samabrains.com, including the Prompt Optimizer
• The SamaBrains Prompt Optimizer Chrome extension
• Pro billing through Pesapal (Mobile Money, card, and related methods)

Free plan (email verification)

• Free use requires verifying your email with a one-time code we send you. Free optimizes are limited each month.
• After you verify, we remember that you’re signed in on this browser (or in the Chrome extension) so you don’t have to verify again every visit.
• Your free monthly allowance is tied to your verified email. Using the same email on the website and the extension counts toward the same allowance.
• We may use basic signals (such as your browser and network) only to reduce abuse of the free plan.
• We use your email to send the verification code and to manage free-plan access. We do not sell email addresses.

Website tools

• We may store a random local id in your browser so the product can work reliably; it does not replace email verification for free use.
• If you purchase Pro, your license key may also be stored locally (including after Pesapal checkout).
• Prompts you submit are sent to our servers and processed with AI to generate optimized prompts, scores, or test runs.
• Newsletter emails are processed only when you submit those forms separately.

Chrome extension

Stored on your device

• Your verified email and sign-in status for the free plan
• A random local id used to run the extension
• Settings you choose (category, tone, format, and related options)
• Billing currency preference (UGX or USD)
• Pro license key, if you purchase or paste one (including auto-save after checkout when the extension is installed)

What the extension accesses

• On ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini: the page composer text, to Optimize and optionally replace (or send) the result if you enable that setting
• Text you select when using the right-click “Optimize with SamaBrains” menu
• It does not read your browsing history or access unrelated sites

What we send and process

• Optimize requests go to https://samabrains.com so we can return a Master Prompt
• We check your free-plan or Pro status so limits work correctly
• For Pro, we store order details needed to activate and expire your license
• We may keep operational logs needed to run and secure the service

Payments (Pesapal)

• Pro purchases are processed by Pesapal. Card and Mobile Money details are handled by Pesapal, not stored on SamaBrains servers.
• We keep the order and license details needed to turn Pro on and off when it expires.
• Pro is time-limited. Renewing gives you a new license key to save; the old key does not extend on its own.
• Optional email or phone you provide at checkout is used for billing contact with Pesapal.

What we do not do

• We do not sell your prompts or email addresses
• We do not use the Chrome extension to track your general browsing
• We do not store your payment card or Mobile Money credentials
